This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using video and audio-visual media in enhancing the listening comprehension skills of students majoring in Teknik Audio Visual at SMK Negeri 4 Palembang. With the increasing importance of multimedia integration in language learning, the research compares the achievement differences before and after the application of each media type. Employing a quantitative experimental design, two groups of students were exposed to either video or audio-visual content, with pre-test and post-test measurements used to assess improvement. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-tests to determine statistical significance. The findings indicate that both video and audio-visual media significantly improved students' listening comprehension. However, there was a notable difference in performance between the two groups, suggesting that one media type may be more effective than the other depending on the learning context. The study highlights the value of integrating varied media resources in vocational education to support language skill development.
