Management of data on master teachers and education staff at SD Plus Indo Global
Mandiri Palembang is still carried out manually using physical documents and
spreadsheet files. This condition causes the data search process to take a long time,
potentially causing data duplication, input errors, and delays in preparing reports.
This research aims to design and build a website-based master data information
system for teachers and education personnel that is able to increase the
effectiveness and efficiency of data management in schools.
The system development method used is waterfall, which includes the stages of
system analysis, system design, implementation, testing and maintenance. System
design uses a Unified Modeling Language (UML) consisting of a Use Case
Diagram, Activity Diagram, and Class Diagram. The system is built using the PHP
programming language with the CodeIgniter framework, MySQL database, and
Bootstrap-based interface. System testing is carried out using the black box testing
method to ensure each function runs according to user needs.
The research results show that the information system built is able to make it easier
to manage data on teachers and educational staff, speed up the data search process,
reduce data processing errors, and produce reports more quickly and accurately.
Thus, it is hoped that this system will support school administration processes to
make them more effective, efficient and integrated.
