Abstract
In the POM IX Street - Sumpah Pemuda Street, traffic jams often occur so as to make a solution by implementing a one-way system since November 2017 in the street. The purpose of this study is to find out and evaluate the performance of the road on POM IX Street - Sumpah Pemuda Street before and after the One Direction System is applied. This study aims to determine and evaluate road performance before and after the adoption of the SSA by using the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) for the standards used to carry out study analyzes.
The results of this evaluation indicate changes in the value of traffic flow prior to the application of SSA obtained peak hours on Jalan POM IX - Youth Oath Street (Normal) occurred on Tuesday at 1115 pcu / hour, while for POM IX Street - Youth Oath Street (Opposite) amounted to 834 pcu / hour. After the implementation of the SSA, traffic flow occurred on Wednesday amounting to 1386 pcu / hour. The highest degree of saturation (DS) value before the application of SSA is Tuesday at 0.638 for POM IX Street - Sumpah Pemuda Street (Normal) and 0.598 for POM IX - Youth Oath Street (Opposite) on Friday. Whereas after the application of the SSA the highest saturation degree (Dj) value occurred on Wednesday, March 11 2020 by 0.794. The level of service for POM IX Road - Normal Youth Oath and Opposite Road is C with a scope limit of 0.45 to 0.74. After applying the one-way system, the highest degree of saturation degree on POM IX Street - Sumpah Pemuda Street occurs on Wednesday at 0.794 with the level of service being D with a V / C value of 0.794 with a scope limit of 0.74 to 0.84.
