Abstract

New products on concrete can be obtained by recycling construction waste, so as to reduce the problem of storage and disposal of construction waste. In this study, it used bricks as an added material to concrete. The purpose of the study was to determine the compressive strength value of concrete on press bricks as a substitution of coarse agraegat by 5% and 10% and find out the effect of broken press bricks as a substitution of coarse aggregates on concrete mixtures. From the research that has been carried out, the average compressive strength in concrete variations of brick presses of 5% and 10% has an increase in the lifespan of 7, 14, and 28 days for each additional variation of brick presses, but not as good as the results of normal concrete compressive strength and the addition of the smell of press bricks do not reach the compressive strength value of 16 Mpa as planned, but this concrete can be used as a lightweight structure concrete
