STRATEGI PARTAI GOLKAR DALAM PEMILU LEGISLATIF (Studi Kasus Kemenangan RA Anita Noeringhati sebagai Anggota Legislatif DPRD Tingkat 1 Provinsi Sumatera Selatan Tahun 2019)

This study analyzes the Golkar Party's strategy in the 2019 Legislative Election, focusing on the victory of RA Anita Noeringhati as a legislative member of the Provincial DPRD Level 1 in South Sumatra. Based on the Defense Theory proposed by Peter Schorder, RA Anita Noeringhati implemented a unique approach in her campaign, successfully maintaining her voter base through sustainable development and direct social assistance. The study also highlights the Golkar Party's skill-based recruitment method for selecting its cadres and the strategic priority given to the 30% female candidate quota. The success of RA Anita Noeringhati as the first woman elected as Chair of the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD for the 2019-2024 period is the result of this strategy. During her tenure, RA Anita advocated for social justice, particularly for women, strengthening public trust in her over three consecutive terms. This study recommends that the government continues to enhance infrastructure development and social assistance programs and encourages women's participation in politics. The public is also expected to actively participate in the political process and oversee the elected leaders.
