COLLABORATIVE GOVERNANCE DALAM PERCEPATAN PENURUNAN STUNTING DI KOTA PALEMBANG TAHUN 2023

This study discusses Collaborative Governance in Accelerating Stunting Reduction in Palembang City in 2023. This policy focuses on the Government's Strategy in efforts to Accelerate Cross-Sectoral Stunting Reduction in efforts to accelerate stunting reduction so that it is right on target. The purpose of this study is to determine how the Collaborative Governance Strategy is in Accelerating Stunting Reduction in Palembang City. Researchers use the Phenomenological qualitative method to study behavior, human life, concepts or phenomena, social problems, and other problems related to society. Data collection methods used include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used by researchers in this qualitative study uses the Miles and Huberman research model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Efforts to Accelerate Stunting Reduction in Palembang City are a Cross-Sectoral collaboration involving various stakeholders with their respective roles and responsibilities based on Presidential Regulation No. 72 of 2021 concerning the Stunting Reduction Acceleration Team as a strong legitimacy to collaborate in implementing policies and programs to overcome Stunting and provide direction and guidelines for the parties involved to work together in an integrated manner in overcoming the problem of stunting so that the stunting rate in Palembang City can decrease and does not cause similar cases. It can be concluded that in the Collaborative Governance Strategy in Accelerating the Reduction of Stunting in Palembang City, there are several problems such as the absence of direct binding cooperation between the government and the private sector, the ongoing cooperation is still semi-collaborative in the sense that there is no written agreement or MoU, In addition, there is a sectoral ego from the related OPDs which still tend to prioritize their respective interests, so that it has an impact on the effectiveness of carrying out tasks according to their respective duties so that Collaborative Governance in accelerating the reduction of Stunting in Palembang City is considered unsuccessful, However, the government has succeeded in reducing the stunting rate from the previous year in 2022 which was higher than in 2023 through a series of efforts, and the level of public understanding and awareness is still very minimal.
