Pengaruh Pola Pengasuhan Humanis, Valiance dan Zero Violence Terhadap Pembentukan Karakter Taruna Di Politeknik Transportasi Sungai Danau Dan Penyeberangan Palembang

Abstract: This research is motivated by various concepts in previous research related to parenting patterns and character formation, but not infrequently, many have not been implemented optimally. This study aims to (1) Evaluate the implementation of humanistic and harmonious relationships, mutual respect and appreciation for fellow cadets, employees and the community. (2) Evaluate the level of courage or discipline of cadets in carrying out activities on campus. (3) Evaluate the factors that contribute to acts of violence and bullying among cadets on the Palembang River, Lake and Ferry Transportation Polytechnic campus and the process of imposing sanctions on cadets who commit violations. This study uses primary data whose data collection uses questionnaires and interviews.

In this study, the researcher used quantitative analysis, multiple linear regression analysis and coefficient of determination analysis with the help of SPSS 25. The population in this study were cadets at the Palembang River, Lake and Ferry Transportation Polytechnic campus totaling 484 people, while based on calculations using the Slovin formula, a sample of 219 people was obtained randomly from cadets of levels I, II and III.

The results of the study obtained using the t test and F test showed that in H1 the calculated t value was greater than the t table, namely 0.495 <1.975488 and a significant value of 0.621 was smaller than 0.05, namely there was a significant influence between Humanist Parenting on the character formation of cadets at the Palembang River, Lake and Ferry Transportation Polytechnic. In H2, the calculated t value is smaller than the t table, which is 1.381> 1.975488 and the significant value is 0.169 which is greater than 0.05, which means there is no significant influence between Valiance on the character formation of cadets of the Palembang River, Lake and Ferry Transportation Polytechnic. In H3, the calculated t value is greater than the t table, which is 3.326> 1.975488 and the significant value is 0.001 which is less than 0.05, which means there is a significant influence between Zero Violence on the character formation of cadets of the Palembang River, Lake and Ferry Transportation Polytechnic. In H4, the calculated F value is greater than the F table, which is 61.827> 2.662946 and the sig value. smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000, meaning that there is a significant influence between Humanistic Parenting, Valiance, Zero Violence simultaneously on the character formation of cadets at the Palembang River, Lake and Crossing Transportation Polytechnic, Palembang.
