ANALISIS STUDI KARAKTERISTIK PARKIR (YAYASAN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM AL AZHAR PALEMBANG)

Al Azhar Palembang Education Foundation is a foundation engaged in education, social, and proselytizing. The realization of a generation of Muslims who are strong aqidah, devout in worship, have a charitable character, are physically healthy, excel in mastery of science and technology and are able to compete globally, therefore the YPI Al Azhar school is one of the private schools that has many students and students. The increase in the number of students has led to an increase in the need for parking spaces. The purpose of this research is to identify parking characteristics and find out the needs of vehicle parking space, especially for the circulation of four-wheeled vehicles that enter and exit at the front of the YPI AL Azhar Palembang school. The analysis method used in this study is to record the time interval every 60 (sixty) minutes, record vehicles coming in and out of the parking area and calculated the length of time
