Abstract

High-resolution aerial photographs play an important role in improving the efficiency and
quality standards of mapping products, such as Digital Elevation Models or commonly called
Digital Elevation Models or (DEM) and orthomosaics. The utilization of aerial photographs to
obtain various geospatial information in various fields, one of which is in the field of mapping
such as to determine the accuracy, or height profile of DEM. the same as this research using
the photogrammetric method.
Data collection in this study includes the process of measuring GCP (Ground Control Point)
and ICP (Independent Check Point), and photographing aerial photographs. The location of
this research is in Bono Village, Boyolangu District, Tulungagung Regency, East Java
Province. The GCP measurements carried out in this study were 6 GCPs and 20 ICPs. And
also made DEM, after that the DEM data is processed for making contour lines. Then the DEM
filtering is done to remove objects in the form of vegetation buildings and others, which results
in the form of DTM. And also testing the accuracy of DEM data by using ICP data that has
been obtained from the field measurement process to see the difference between the elevation
of aerial photography data and also from field measurement data.
The results that have been obtained from this research are vertical accuracy (LE90) of 2.039
m with a classification in class 1 with a map scale of 1:10,000. for the analysis of contour
patterns on aerial photo DEMs is to follow objects on the ground, such as settlements, buildings
and so on, and also with output results in the form of Village Maps.
Keywords: GCP, ICP, Vertical, DEM, DTM, Accuracy.
