Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has significantly increased the use of online transportation applications as a means of public mobility. One of the most widely used online transportation applications is Maxim. However, based on preliminary observations, several issues were identified in the use of the Maxim application, including difficulties in determining map locations, unexpected fare changes after booking, and system disruptions that affect user convenience. These problems indicate the need to analyze user satisfaction in order to identify the factors influencing the acceptance of the application.

This study aims to analyze the level of user satisfaction with the Maxim application and identify the variables that have the greatest influence on user satisfaction among active students of Universitas Indo Global Mandiri. This research employs a quantitative approach using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which consists of five variables: Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Attitude Toward Using, Behavioral Intention to Use, and Actual Use. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, involving active students of Universitas Indo Global Mandiri who have experience using the Maxim application. Data were collected through questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale. The collected data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with the assistance of SmartPLS software to assess the validity, reliability, and relationships among the research variables.

This study is expected to provide an overview of the level of user satisfaction with the Maxim application and identify the factors affecting technology acceptance based on the Technology Acceptance Model. Furthermore, the findings are expected to serve as valuable recommendations for Maxim developers to improve service quality, ease of use, and application usefulness, thereby enhancing overall user satisfaction.
