Abstract

An organization or agency can achieve its goals if the people in it can work well in achieving organizational goals. Employees are an important element in determining the progress of an agency. Therefore, in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, ability, diligence, thoroughness and other expertise are needed to support the execution of tasks according to their respective functions. In order for employees to carry out their duties and functions optimally, high and continuous motivation is needed in every employee. So the purpose of this study is to find out how much influence the variables of Work motivation (MK), compensation (KP) and Work Environment (LK) influence both individually and collectively on the performance of teachers/staff (KG). data collection method through questionnaires that have been distributed. The sample for this research was all teachers and employees of SMK Negeri 1 Lempuing, totaling 58 people. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis.
The calculation results for multiple regression values obtained a coefficient of determination of 0.783, which means that the performance of teachers/staff at SMK Negeri 1 Lempuing is influenced by Work Motivation (MK), Compensation (KP) and Work Environment (LK) of 78.3%, while the remaining 21 .7% influenced by other variables.
The regression results show the effect of the Work Motivation variable on Teacher Performance resulting in a significance value of 0.306 which is greater than α = 0.05, then H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that work motivation has no significant effect on teacher performance. While the variable Compensation for Teacher Performance produces a significance value of 0.108 which is greater than α = 0.05 then H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that compensation has no significant effect on teacher performance. And the variable Work Environment on Teacher Performance produces a significance value of 0.000 which is less than α = 0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that the work environment has a significant effect on teacher performance at SMK Negeri 1 Lempuing
